Reports from Enterprise News say the incident occurred at around 3:15 p.m. on Rockland Street in Easton, Massachusetts. The victim was a member of a crew completing construction of a home, and was working at the site when the nail gun went off. It sent a framing nail through the victim’s right kneecap and into his knee.
A helicopter was called to the scene and airlifted the worker to a Boston hospital for treatment.
The incident comes just weeks after another worker was killed in Plymouth, Massachusetts, when a wall he was constructing suddenly collapsed on top of him.
