Lia is a proud first-generation graduate of Southern New Hampshire University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a specialization in Criminology and Crime Scene Analysis. Born in New Jersey to two Brazilian parents and later relocating to Gloucester, MA, she has been captivated by the world of crime and the legal system since she was just 10 years old. As someone from a small city with big dreams, those who have known her from the beginning could attest to her unwavering determination to achieve her goals.
When she isn’t working, she can often be found by the ocean with a cup of matcha, exploring new destinations and cultures (with plenty of food along the way), or training on the mats in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Her favorite travel companion is her twin sister, and yes, she’s the older one! Although they are currently separated by about 600 miles while her sister pursues a career in the U.S. Navy, they still find time to embark on adventures and travel the world together.
